From what started out as a small territorial gathering 123 years ago, has now grown into one of the biggest state fairs in the nation. Running from mid-October to early November, this year’s Arizona State Fair promises to be the most exciting to date, featuring a huge array foods, exhibits, livestock, thrilling rides and world-class entertainment.

The Downtown Library in Chandler is a great place for home schooling families to connect. It hosts a home school book discussion group at the beginning of each month, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., for kids ages 9 to 11. Stop by and share your thoughts on this month’s book!
